Works to resurface a short section of old foot and cycle path at Westgate Roundabout, between Moody Lane and the A180, will take place this month.
To allow for the works to be carried out, the pedestrian barriers will be removed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Friday 3 September. The footpath will remain open during this time. Temporary barriers will be put in place for the safety of those using the shared foot and cycle path until works have been fully completed. This phase of work will not affect the highway or motorists.
The old footpath will then be removed and resurfaced overnight from 7pm on Friday 10 September, with a single lane closure in place to ensure safety.
The refurbished barriers will be installed on Monday 13 September between 9.30am and 3.30pm. This phase of work will not affect the highway or motorists.
North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE would like to apologise in advance of these works for any inconvenience caused and thank road users and businesses for their support while we carry out these improvements.
