Today’s Skills Fair at Grimsby Auditorium saw local employers join together to meet and inspire young people.
The invite-only event gave them the opportunity to talk to young people in our area about current and future employment opportunities, discuss the skills employers are looking for and experience first-hand the talent on offer from the next generation.
Here’s Councillor Oliver Freeston, who attended as councillor as well as chair of the Children and Lifelong Learning Scrutiny Panel.
“I was keen to gain a better insight into opportunities available to young people,” he said.
