Improvement works to the level crossing on Moody Lane have now been completed by ABP.
Investigations to the previously reported drainage issues have been carried out and engineers are currently identifying the works required.
Whilst the drainage works continue, the next stage of improvements will be starting on Monday 20 January. During this phase new pedestrian crossing points and footway improvements will be carried out at the Moody Lane and Gate Way junction.
To allow these works to be carried out safely, three way temporary traffic lights will be in place at the Moody Lane and Gate Way junction between 6am and 6pm and take five days to complete.
From Monday 27 January carriageway resurfacing works will take place on Moody Lane between the Gilbey Road junction and Westside Road. To allow these works to be completed and reduce the impact to businesses in the area an overnight road closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am and take five nights to complete.
Advanced warning signs and a signed diversion route will be in place during the closure.
During the day Moody Lane will be reopened to vehicles.
North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE would like to thank road users and businesses for their continued support while we carry out these improvements.
