Works to install a pedestrian crossing point on Bluestone Lane in Immingham will start on Monday, July 6 following a petition by residents.
Local residents started a petition to install a crossing point at the junction between Roval Drive and Stainton Drive to improve road safety and create a safe crossing point for school children to access the nearby school.
The works will take one week to complete with localised traffic management (cones and barriers) in place between 7:30am and 6pm to ensure the safety of those completing the works.
The works will be carried out by North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE. Visit www.nelincs.gov.uk/roadworks for the latest live travel information in the area, including congestion and roadworks.
