Councillor Stan Shreeve is relaxing this afternoon after completing the Orsted Great Grimsby 10K in 78 minutes.
He ran in aid of Harbour Place, of which he is a trustee, and you can still make a donation by clicking here.
“It was hot and humid,” he said. “I went off far too fast and paid for it in the middle section. I took advantage of all spraying water and managed to hold something back for a truly fast sprint finish over last 100 metres, which sadly no one but my wife saw!”
Stan crossed the finish line five minutes faster than when he took part in 2017. Well done! 🏅
